Program Director

Megan Wells is a native of Mobile, Alabama. She serves as Program Director at Sheena’s Hope, where she is dedicated to supporting women and children as they navigate the challenges of recovery in order to rebuild their lives and work toward a brighter future. Megan holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Auburn University and is a licensed insurance agent. Her professional background includes work in the Medicare field, where she developed a deep compassion for individuals living with disabilities and has gained valuable insight into the barriers many face when accessing resources and essential support systems. This experience strengthened her ability to navigate social services, build meaningful professional relationships, and connect individuals with resources that can make a lasting impact on their lives. As a single mother, Megan understands firsthand the challenges that financial hardship and economic instability can bring. These experiences have shaped her perspective, deepened her empathy, and strengthened her commitment to her calling of helping women and children facing difficult circumstances find a new hope, and provide opportunities for lasting change. Megan’s Christian faith and salvation through Jesus Christ is the most important part of her recovery, and she believes lasting change begins with Jesus. Her faith informs her approach to leadership and reinforces her belief in the power of hope, grace, and transformation. She is passionate about creating a structured environment where women and children are treated with dignity and respect, encouraged in their recovery, and empowered to discover their true potential and worth. Through her leadership at Sheena’s Hope, Megan is passionate about helping women and children see and move beyond their circumstances to build a foundation for lasting recovery and a new way of life in Christ.

House Manager

Margot Etheridge serves as House Manager at Sheena’s Hope, where her own journey of transformation shapes her leadership. She believes God uses personal experience and trials to strengthen the guidance she offers others. With a deep desire to lead women into a higher way of living—free from addiction and sin—and to glorify Him in all she does, Margot points to Ezekiel 36:26-27 as both her testimony and her hope for those she serves. Sheena’s Hope is more than a place of refuge for the women who come through its doors; it has also been a place of refuge and restoration for Margot herself. Serving God in this ministry and giving back to a place that has given so much to her fills her life with hope and purpose. She counts it a blessing to be part of something so meaningful.
